BHSc (Hons)
Physiotherapist
I graduated from Northumbria University in 2016 with BSc Hons degree in physiotherapy. I commenced my career as a junior physiotherapist with Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust within the musculoskeletal out patient’s department at Blyth Community Hospital. On completion of this rotation I achieved promotion to a Senior physiotherapist role specialising in more complex musculoskeletal conditions at Wansbeck General Hospital. This included running rehabilitation classes for patients with lower limb injures or post-operative orthopaedic surgery. A position I still hold today. Over the last 18 months, I have been employed in a dual role as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist within the Living Well with pain service.
On graduation, I also took up the position of Ashington CFC physiotherapist. I still work closely with the club providing rehabilitation to players following injury.
