Cancellation of an appointment or failure to attend:

The practice may charge the full fee unless at least 24 hours notice is given.

The Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic is privately run and current fees are £45 for Initial assessment with treatment, and £40 for follow on treatment sessions.

Assessment and treatment

Please be aware that in order to ensure a thorough examination by the Physiotherapist you will have to expose the affected part of your body.
You have the right to refuse any treatment at any time if you are not happy.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.  .

Terms and conditions of payment

It is the patient's legal responsibility to ensure prompt payment. In the absence of prior written agreement to the contrary, payment of our charges is required on receipt of invoice. Failure to make payment within 28 days of the due date may result in the matter being referred to P&JS CDS our debt collection agents, whose charges will be added to and payable with the invoice debt.

Private medical insurance

It is the responsibility of the patient to ensure that full compliance is made with their insurance company policy requirements before treatment commences. For example: GP/Consultant referral, number of treatments, treatment time period, policy excess.

It is also the legal responsibility of the patient, not the Clinic’s, to ensure that prompt payment is made by their insurers otherwise the Clinic can require the patient to pay themselves and seek reimbursement from their insurers.        

If you have a complaint please speak to the receptionist and put it in writing to the Practice Principal so that it can be fully investigated.
